About North Star Riders:        

North Star Riders (NSR) is a small local saddle club located in Bemidji, MN.  Our home arena is located on the Beltrami County Fairgrounds (map) just minutes north of Bemidji on Highway 71 North.  NSR is a current member of the Western Saddle Clubs Association (WSCA) and has several members that compete annually at the WCSA Championship Show (Champ Show) at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul, MN.

NSR offers several events every summer including our annual CMHIA/WSCA Open Horse Shows and our Barrel Runs.  In 2010, we explored other interests by hosting a sorting event at our arena and we hosted a fall Poker Ride on horseback on trails located just south of Bemidji.

Practice nights are every Thursday night at the fairgrounds arena during the warmer months.  This time is reserved through the fairboard for NSR members to have the arena for club members to have sole use.  The only times that we do not have practice times are during the fair and nights of our barrel runs!

North Star Riders is also the home club of WSCA Judge, Tessa Drevlow
